PANY (LIMITED).
A T an Adjourned Meeting of Shareholders of the
above Company, held on Friday, 13th December,
1878, the following resolution was carried, viz.:
"That the affairs of the Hokitika and Greymouth
Tramway Company have been fairly wound up."

TO THE REGISTRAR-GENERAL FOR THE COLONY
OF NEW ZEALND.
I, CHARLES HENRY HUXTABLE, residing
at Kumara, Bachelor of Medicine and Master
in Surgery of Glasgow University, do hereby give
notice that I intend to apply, in one month from the
under-mentioned date, to the Registrar for Westland
Province, with whom are deposited the evidences of
my qualification, to be registered under the Medical
Practitioners Act.

A T a Meeting of Ratepayers held the 14th Decem-
ber, 1878, to elect a Member of the Collingwood
Road Board, proposed by Mr. R. Riley, seconded by
Mr. R. Allan, that Mr. D. ALLAN be elected a Mem-
ber of the Road Board.—Carried.

Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of five per cent.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom Post Office Money Orders should
be made payable.
Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in
payment from any place at which post-office orders are issued,
and, under any circumstances, are subject to a reduction at the
rate of one shilling in the pound.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL IN FUTURE BE INSERTED WITHOUT
PREPAYMENT BEING MADE.
