And whereas the Honorable James Macandrew has requested me to investigate and settle the claims
of Angus Martin (as the representative of Samuel McDonald Martin, deceased), and of Lachlan Allan
McCaskill, to all that piece of land situate on the Eastern and Southern banks of the Thames River, being
part of the Block called Opukeko, in the District of Thames, in the Provincial District of Auckland,
containing six hundred and three (603) acres and three (3) roods, be the same a little more or less, and
whereof the boundaries are set out in the survey plan of the same:
Now, therefore, I, Francis Dart Fenton, Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, do hereby give notice
that a Court will be holden at Shortland on the 15th day of January, 1879, commencing at ten of the clock
in the forenoon, for the purpose aforesaid.

hoki ki te Tonga o te awa o Waihou, ara ko tetahi wahi o te whenua ko Opukeko nei tona ingoa, i te
Takiwa o Te Temu, i te Porowini Takiwa o Akarana. Ko te nui o taua whenua i te ruritanga ai e ono rau
ma toru eka, e toru ruri, neke ake nuku iho ranei. Ko nga rohe kei te mapi o taua whenua e mau ana.
Na he Panuitanga tenei naku, na Te Penetaua, na te Tumuaki Kaiwhakawa o te Kooti Whenua Maori,
kia mohiotia ai ka tu te Kooti Whenua Maori ki Hoterene Taone, a te 15 o nga ra o Hanuere, 1879, timata
i te tekau o nga haora o te ata, hei whakawa i taua tonu.
