NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels

under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act,
1870," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same
in each case within one calendar month from date of
publication of this notice.

SOUTHLAND COUNTY.

Southland County Council Office,
Invercargill, 1st February, 1878.

I HEREBY give notice that in pursuance of the
powers granted by "The Public Works Act,
1876," the Southland County Council did, on 24th
January ultimo, declare the following roads to be
county roads within the meaning of the said Act,
viz.,-

(1.) The Main North Road between the Town of
Invercargill and the Waihopai River, except such
portions thereof as are or may be within the limits
of boroughs, or have a borough on both sides, or on
one side only.

(2.) The Main East Road between the Town of
Invercargill and the Invercargill Cemetery, except
such portions thereof as are or may be within the
limits of a borough, or have a borough on both sides,
or on one side only.

(3.) The Main South Road between the Town of
Invercargill and the northern boundary of Campbell-
town Hundred, except such portions thereof as are
or may be within the limits of a borough, or have a
borough on both sides, or on one side only.

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF WESTLAND, HOLDEN
AT REEFTON.

In the matter of "The Mining Companies Act,
1872," and in the matter of the Golden Treasure
Gold-Mining Company (Limited), in liquida-
tion.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Schedule showing
the realized amount of the assets, including
the contributions and the liabilities of the said Com-
pany, the amount of moneys available for the claims
in the matter of the winding up, and the proposed
plan of distribution thereof, is now open in my office
(situate in Broadway, Reefton) for inspection by
the contributors to and creditors of the said Com-
pany; and that the claims mentioned in the said
Schedule will, after the lapse of twenty-one days
from the publication hereof, be paid at the said
office.

Dated at Reefton, this twenty-fifth day of January,
1878.

THE NEW ZEALAND LEAD AND GALVANIZED
IRON WORKS COMPANY (LIMITED).

A GENERAL Extraordinary Meeting of the
Shareholders of this Company is hereby con-
vened by the Directors, to be held at the Company's
registered office, Victoria Street, Auckland, on
Friday, the eighth day of February, 1878, at two
o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of consider-
ing the following special Resolutions, which will be
proposed at such meeting, viz.,-

"That the New Zealand Lead and Galvanized
Iron Works Company (Limited) be wound
up voluntarily."

"That a Liquidator be appointed for winding up
the affairs of the Company and distributing
the property."

And for considering any other matter in relation
to the subject which may be brought before the
meeting.

containing this notice.

JOHN O'REGAN, Applicant.-8 perches, Allot-
ment 945, and 2 perches, southern half of Allotment
1712. Said pieces of land are situated in the Town
of Hokitika, and are in the occupation of the Appli-
cant.
No. 349.

Diagrams may be inspected at this office.

Dated this 22nd day of January, 1878, at the

I REGINALD HENRY KEMP BENNETT,
residing at Wellington, Licentiate of the Royal
College of Surgeons, Ireland, Licentiate of Medicine
and of Midwifery, do hereby give notice that I intend
to apply to the said Registrar-General, on the fifth
day of March, 1878, to have my name placed on the
List of Medical Practitioners in the Colony of New
Zealand; and that I have exhibited my diplomas to
the said Registrar-General, and deposited copies
thereof in his office for inspection, in terms of "The
Medical Practitioners Act, 1869."
