LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that THOMAS HICKS,
of Queenstown, Otago, Timber Merchant,
FRANCIS MCBRIDE, of Frankton, Otago, Farmer,
JOHN COCHRANE PATTERSON, of Kinlock,
Otago, Settler, and JAMES WHITBOURN, of
Queenstown, aforesaid, Clerk, claiming as Devisees 4
under the Will of JAMES WILLIAM ROBERTSON, late
of Queenstown, aforesaid, Timber Merchant, de-
ceased, have made application to be registered as
Proprietors in fee-simple in one, undivided moiety
in Section 7, Block XVIII., Shotover District; and
that the said Thomas Hicks, Francis McBride, John
Cochrane Patterson, and James Whitbourn, will be
so registered as such proprietors unless caveat be
lodged at this office forbidding the same within one
calendar month from date of publication of this
notice.

APPLICATION has been made to me to register
JOHN MILLER, of the Hook, near Waimate,
Farmer, Proprietor of Rural Section No. 17145, by
virtue of a Memorandum of Transfer from CHARLES
HENDRY, of Blue Cliffs, Timaru, Shepherd, and a
statutory declaration by the said Charles Hendry, as
to the loss of the license to occupy said section, has
been lodged with me. Notice is hereby given that I
shall comply with above application unless caveat
forbidding the same be lodged with me within four-
teen days from the publication of this notice.

RISON, Farmer, and EDWARD BIBBY,
Storekeeper, both of Waipawa, Hawke's Bay, claim-
ing as Devisees under the Will of DUNCAN MORRISON,
late of Tukituki, Ruataniwha, Hawke's Bay, Farmer,
deceased, have applied to be registered as Proprietors
of an estate in fee-simple in Blocks Nos. 257 and
259, Ruataniwha District, and to be provisionally
registered as such proprietors in Blocks 35 and 36,

Makaretu Reserve; and that they will be so registered

NOTICE of Resolution passed at a General Meet-
ing of Shareholders of the above Company,
held within the office of the Liquidator, at Hokitika,
on Saturday, the 22nd day of December, 1877.
The following resolution was duly carried: "That
the meeting is of opinion that the affairs of the Com-
pany have been fairly wound up."

THE PARAPARA IRON AND COAL COMPANY
(LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an Extraordinary
General Meeting of the above Company, held
at the Masonic Hall, Nelson, on Monday, the 12th
day of November last, the following resolutions were
duly passed :-

  1. "That this Company be wound up voluntarily.
  2. "That Messrs. J. R. Mabin and A. W. Scaife
    be appointed Liquidators for the Company, and that
    their joint commission be 2½ per cent. on the net
    amount realized for distribution among the share-
    holders."
    And that, at an Extraordinary General Meeting
    of the said Company, held at the Masonic Hall,
    Nelson, on Monday, the 17th day of December
    instant, the said resolutions were duly confirmed.
