THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

And whereas on or about the twenty-second day of
June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-seven,
an application was made by and on behalf of certain
aboriginal natives claiming to have an interest in the
said land, for a rehearing of the said claim, and it is
expedient that the said claim should be reheard
before the said Court:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, in
exercise and pursuance of the above-recited power,
and by and with the advice and consent of the Exe-
cutive Council of New Zealand, doth hereby order
and direct that the said claim of Tamihana Kakano
and others to the piece of land aforesaid shall be
reheard as and in the manner provided by "The
Native Land Act, 1873," and doth also order that
such rehearing shall take place within one year from
the said fifth day of April, one thousand eight hun-
dred and seventy-seven.

Additional Regulation for Trout Fishing in Otago.

NORMANBY, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested
in him by "The Salmon and Trout Act, 1867,"
His Excellency the Governor doth hereby make the
following regulation for the Provincial District of
Otago :-

Any holder of a license may fish with rod and line
for brown trout in the following rivers, creeks, or
streams: - Oamaru Creek, Waireka Creek, and
Waianakarua River, from the seventh day of No-
vember, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
seven, to the thirty-first day of January, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight, both
inclusive.

The Regulations Nos. three, four, five, six,
seven, and eight of the Regulations of the twenty-
ninth September, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-seven, published in the New Zealand Gazette
of the fourth day of October, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-seven, page nine hundred and
ninety-seven, shall, so far as applicable, be incorpo-
rated with and form part of these regulations.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this sixteenth day of Novem-
ber, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-seven.

at which the Public Vaccinator, appointed for the
District of Waipu, should attend for the perform-
ance of vaccination: And whereas it has been found
unnecessary that the Public Vaccinator should attend
at such places for such purpose:

Now, therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of New Zealand,
in exercise and pursuance of all powers enabling me
in that behalf, do hereby declare that from and after
the nineteenth day of November instant,

The NORTH RIVER SCHOOLHOUSE,
The COVE SCHOOLHOUSE, and
The RESIDENCE of Mr. JAMES SLOANE at Ruakaka,
at Waipu, in the Provincial District of Auckland,
shall cease to be places at which the Public Vaccinator
for the aforesaid district shall attend for the perform-
ance of vaccination.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this nineteenth day of Novem-
ber, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-seven.

Vaccination Stations at Waiwera abolished.

NORMANBY, Governor.

WHEREAS by Warrant under the hand of the
Governor, dated the eleventh day of Septem-
ber, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four,
the residence of Mr. Edward Lawton at the Wade,
and the Schoolhouse at the German Settlement on
the Puhoi River, in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, were appointed places at which the Public
Vaccinator appointed for the District of Waiwera
should attend at certain times for the performance
of vaccination: And whereas it has been found
unnecessary that the Public Vaccinator should attend
at such places and at such times for such purpose:

Now, therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of New Zealand,
in exercise and pursuance of all powers enabling me
in that behalf, do hereby declare that from and after
the nineteenth day of November instant,

The RESIDENCE of Mr. EDWARD LAWTON at the
Wade,
at Waiwera, in the Provincial District of Auckland,
shall cease to be a place at which the Public Vacci-
nator for the aforesaid district shall attend for the
performance of vaccination; and the times specified
in the aforesaid Warrant of the eleventh day of Sep-
tember, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four,
at which the Public Vaccinator should attend at the
Schoolhouse at the German Settlement on the Puhoi
River, shall no longer be the times for such atten-
dance.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this nineteenth day of Novem-
ber, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-seven.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by "The Public Health Act, 1876," I, George
Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
the places mentioned in the second column of the Schedule hereto as and to be the places at which the
Public Vaccinators appointed for the districts mentioned in the first column of the said Schedule shall
attend for the performance of vaccination, as required by the said Act; and I do hereby give notice that
such Public Vaccinators will attend at the places aforesaid, for the purpose of performing such vaccination,
on the days and at the hours set forth in the third column of the said Schedule opposite the name of each
