LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

I HEREBY give notice, that, under a writ of fieri
facias, duly issued out of the Supreme Court at
the suit of Nathan Salomon, Eugene Bibergil Beaver, N
Alexander Beaver, Marcus Isaacs, and Marcus
Brosch, carrying on business in co-partnership under th
style or firm of Beaver Brothers, Salomon, and
Company, of the City of Dunedin, General Merchants,
I have taken in execution the leasehold interest of
George Symons Budge, of the City of Wellington,
Tobacconist, being the residue of a term of sever
years from the 6th March, 1876, of all that parce
of land situate in the City of Wellington aforesa'
being portions of Sections numbered respectivel 1
and 2 on the plan of the land from Port Nicholn,
commencing at a point on the western boundary ane
of the said sections distant about twenty-eight feet
and eight inches from the north-western cor er or
angle of the said Section number 2, and raning
thence in a southerly direction along the estern
boundary line of the said sections, and kving a
frontage on Willis Street eighteen feet nd two
inches, and running back therefrom in a easterly
direction, parallel with the northern and southern
boundary lines of the said sections, sixty-eight feet,
and forming a rectangular block, with the shop and
the buildings thereon, and the appurtenances; and
that I intend to cause the same to be sold at the
auction rooms, on Panama Street, in the City of
Wellington, of Mr. R. J. Duncan, on the 15th day of
October, 1877, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

NOTICE is hereby given that HANNAH WHIT-
TEN, of Hokitika, in the County of Westland,
Wife of WILLIAM WHITTEN, of the same place, Carter,
and ANN CHEFFINGS, of Louth, in Lincolnshire,
in England, Widow, claiming as Devisees under the
Will of JOHN CHEFFINGS, late of Hokitika aforesaid,
Publican, deceased, have applied to be registered as
proprietors as tenants in common for life, in equal
shares, of all that piece of land containing 1 rood or
thereabouts, being Allotments numbered 364 and
702, in the Town of Hokitika; and that they will be
so registered unless caveat forbidding the same be
lodged at this office within one calendar month from
the date of the Gazette containing this notice.
