Sheep Inspector's Notice.

Wellington, 26th September, 1877.
NOTICE has been received from the Inspector of
Sheep for the Rangitikei District that he has
granted a clean certificate to
Mr. Alexander Simpson, Turakina, for a separate
Flock of 500 Sheep; dated 13th September, 1877.
And notice has also been received from the Inspector
of Sheep for the Wellington District that he has
granted a clean certificate to
Matene, of Petoni, for a Mixed Flock of 400 Sheep;
dated 25th September, 1877.

To the Owners and Reputed Owners, Occupiers
and Reputed Occupiers, of the lands herein-
after described.
TAKE notice that, in pursuance of the above-
mentioned Acts, the plan relating to a race or
aqueduct which the Caversham Borough Council
propose to take over and through the said lands is
deposited for inspection at Wilson, Harroway, and
Co.'s Flour-mills, Kaikorai, and at W. T. Bunting's
Store, Half-way Bush. The general description of
works proposed to be executed is to form a race or
aqueduct over and through the said lands; commenc-
ing at a track of the Silver Stream, in Silver Peak
District; thence in a southerly south-easterly and
south-westerly direction through Crown lands and
lands being Sections numbered 39, 1 of 38, 2 of 38,
37, 40, 41, 1 of 36, 2 of 35, 1 of 35, 34, 46, 47, 2 of
36, 1 of 32, 1 of 31, 2 of 30, 29, 25, 24, 20, 19, 17,
16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, Block IV., Dune-
din and East Taieri District; and Sections numbered
3, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 16, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 53, 52, 36,
and 37, Block VI., Dunedin and East Taieri District;
and Sections numbered 154, 155, 156, 157, 150, 149,
147, 145, and 143, in the Waikari District, to the
Kaikorai Stream.
And that all persons affected by the proposed race
or aqueduct are hereby called upon and required to
set forth, in writing, any well-grounded objections to
the execution of such works or the taking of such
lands, and to send such writing, within forty days
from the publication of this notice, to the said
Caversham Borough Council, whose office is at
Caversham.
Dated at Caversham, this 25th day of September,
1877.
