THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

I HEREBY give notice, that, under a writ of fieri
facias, duly issued out of the Supreme Court at
the suit of Nathan Salomon, Eugene Bibergil Beaver,
Alexander Beaver, Marcus Isaacs, and Marcus
Brosch, carrying on business in co-partnership under
the style or firm of Beaver Brothers, Salomon, and
Company, of the City of Dunedin, General Merchants,
I have taken in execution the leasehold interest of
George Symons Budge, of the City of Wellington,
Tobacconist, being the residue of a term of seven
years from the 6th March, 1876, of all that parcel
of land situate in the City of Wellington aforesaid,
being portions of Sections numbered respectively 1
and 2 on the plan of the land from Port Nicholson,
commencing at a point on the western boundary line
of the said sections distant about twenty-eight feet
and eight inches from the north-western corner or
angle of the said Section number 2, and running
thence in a southerly direction along the western
boundary line of the said sections, and having a
frontage on Willis Street eighteen feet and two
inches, and running back therefrom in an easterly
direction, parallel with the northern and southern
boundary lines of the said sections, sixty-eight feet,
and forming a rectangular block, with the shop and
the buildings thereon, and the appurtenances; and
that I intend to cause the same to be sold at the
auction rooms, on Panama Street, in the City of
Wellington, of Mr. R. J. Duncan, on the 15th day of
October, 1877, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the several parcels
of land hereinafter described will be brought
under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act,
1870," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same
in each case on or before the 10th September, 1877.

  1. JOHN STOKES.-35 acres 1 rood, part
    of Rural Sections 437, 1213, and 10832, Mandeville
    District. In the occupation of the Applicant.

  2. Sir THOMAS TANCRED, Baronet, JOHN
    COLLINS ALLEN, and HENRY JOHN TAN-
    CRED.-30 acres, part of Rural Section 4904, front-
    ing the Town of Ashburton (subject to the govern-
    ment road, called Wakanui Road, running through
    the said section), excepting thereout a piece of land
    known as Lot 37, commencing at a point on the
    north-western boundary of section, 36 chains 89
    links from the westermost corner; thence north-
    easterly a distance of 1 chain, and extending back at
    right angles south-easterly 5 chains, forming a rec-
    tangular block, in the Ashburton District. The first-
    mentioned piece of land being partly in the occupa-
    tion of John Rapley, W R. Boyle, G. F. Ritso, John
    Hurrell, Duncan McKenzie, G. M. Robinson, James
    Baker, James Mulford, T. Scott, Joseph Canning,
    Joseph Milliken, Thomas Bullock, Joshua Tucker,
    and Thomas Andrews.

  3. RICHARD MURPHY.-2 roods, part
    Rural Section 6, commencing at a point in said sec-
    tion on its south boundary on River Road, the said
    point being 288 links north-easterly at a right angle
    from the south-west boundary of said section pro-
    longed 13 links southerly; thence North-westerly at
    a right angle 213 links; thence North-easterly at a
    right angle 106 links; thence at an angle of 118° 20′
    South-easterly, 181 links; thence Southerly at an
    angle of 151° 05', 176 links, to River Road; and
    thence Westerly and Northerly along said river road
    to commencing point, Christchurch District. In the
    occupation of Applicant.

  4. JAMES PITHIE.-20 acres, Rural Section
    5287, Ashburton District. In the occupation of
    William Clark.

  5. DANIEL WEST.-1 rood, Section 240,
    Town of Timaru. In the occupation of John Breen.

  6. ABRAHAM DENTON.---1 rood, fronting
    right-of-way leading into Colombo Street South, part
    of Rural Section 238, Christchurch District. In the
    occupation of Applicant.

  7. JOHN ODERING.-1 rood, fronting
    right-of-way leading into Colombo Street South, part
    of Rural Sections 238 and 239, Christchurch District.
    In the occupation of Applicant.

  8. DANIEL MCGALLAN.-1 rood, front-
    ing Colombo Street South, part of Rural Section 239,
    Christchurch District. In the occupation of Appli-
    cant.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given, that MARGARET
PETERSON, the Wife of HANS PETERSON, of
Masterton, in the Provincial District of Wellington,
Bootmaker, late the Widow of JOHN BAILLIE, of
Eaglehawk, near Sandhurst, in the County of Ben-
digo and Colony of Victoria, Boot and Shoe Maker,
deceased, claiming as Devisee of an estate in fee-
simple under the Will of the said John Baillie, con-
sisting of 12 perches, being Section "178" on the
plan of the Town of Reefton, has made application
to the District Land Registrar of the District of
Nelson to be registered as proprietor of such land;
and that the said Margaret Peterson will be so
registered as proprietor as aforesaid unless caveat be
lodged at this office within one calendar month from
the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette.

thirtieth day of July, 1877.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership sub-
sisting between us the undersigned, ROBERT
CAMPBELL and ALEXANDER MACINTOSH CLARK, as
Sheep and Cattle Farmers, at Mount Linton Station,
in the Provincial District of Otago, under the style of
"Campbell and Clark," has been dissolved by mutual
consent, as from the thirtieth day of June last past.
The business will in future be carried on by Mr.
Robert Campbell, who will pay all debts owing by,
and is authorized to receive all debts and and moneys
owing to, the late firm.
