Alteration of boundaries of Komokoriki and Tauhoa tricts, and the Mataia Block; on the South by the
Highway Districts.
Makarau Creek; and on the West by the Kaipara
Harbour.
NORMANBY, Governor.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in
me by the seventh section of the Act of the
Provincial Council of Auckland intituled "The
Highways Act, 1874," and "The Abolition of Pro-
vinces Act, 1875," I do hereby notify that from and
after the date hereof the boundaries of the Komo-
koriki Highway District shall be those set forth in
the First Schedule hereto, and the boundaries of the
Tauhoa Highway District shall be those set forth in
the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
KOMOKORIKI DISTRICT.
BOUNDED on the North by the Tauhoa Block; on
the East by portions of the western boundaries of the
Weiti, Puhoi, and Lower Mahurangi Highway Dis-
SECOND SCHEDULE.
TAUHOA DISTRICT.
BOUNDED on the North-west by the south-eastern
boundary of the Oruawharo Block; on the North-
east by the boundary of the Pakiri District, and the
western boundary of the Kourawhero Parish, and
part of the western boundary of the Parish of
Ahuroa; on the South-east by part of the north-
western boundary of the Komokoriki Parish; and
on the South-west by Mataia Block and the Kaipara
River.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this fifteenth day of June,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
seven.

IN pursuance and exercise of all powers and authorities vested in me by "The Rating Act, 1876,"
I, George Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby appoint the person named in the Schedule hereto to be the Judge of the Assessment Courts
for the districts placed opposite his name.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Most Honorable George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, Earl of Mulgrave, Viscount Normanby, and Baron Mulgrave
of Mulgrave, all in the County of York, in the Peerage of the United Kingdom;
and Baron Mulgrave of New Ross, in the County of Wexford, in the Peerage of
Ireland; a Member of Her Majesty's Most Honorable Privy Council; Knight
Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George;
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand
and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; at the Government House, at
Wellington, this fifteenth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-seven.
