RATES OF FREIGHT AND INSURANCE FOR SPECIAL GOODS.
Under "The Public Works Act, 1876," the Government is exempted from all liability for loss of or
damage to the following articles beyond the values mentioned below respectively, unless such goods are
declared by the consignor to be "special goods," and their value is stated upon the consignment note;
and upon such declaration being made and value stated all such goods will be subject to the charges stated
below as the "rates for the insurance of special goods."
