NOTICE TO MARINERS.

Wellington, 13th December, 1877.
THE following Notice to Mariners, received from
the Colonial Secretary, Queensland, is pub-
lished for general information.

SHOAL, TRINITY BAY.
CAPTAIN SAUNDERS, of the s.s. "Alexandra," reports
having found a shoal in Trinity Bay with not more
that 9 feet of water over it at low water. This danger
is composed of sand and broken coral, is small in
extent, and lies in the following approximate posi-
tion:-
Island Point, nearly in line with a } W. by N. N.
remarkable peaked mountain
Round Hill ... ... ... S.S.W. W.

Revocation of Appointment of Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS. In exercise of the authority in me
for this purpose vested, I, Sir George Grey,
K.C.B., the Commissioner of Customs, do, by this
order under my hand, revoke and annul the appoint-
ment of the under-mentioned building as a Ware-
house for the reception and security of goods entered
to be warehoused without payment of duty upon the
first entry thereof, viz. :-
Port of Wanganui.
A detached wooden building, covered with iron,
situate on Section No. 41, at the rear of the premises
known as Finnimore's Stores, Taupo Quay, Town of
Wanganui, and known as
WRIGHT'S BOND.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
thirteenth day of December, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-seven.

Approving and Appointing Bonding Warehouses.
CUSTOMS. - In exercise of the powers in me for
this purpose vested by "The Customs Regu-
lation Act, 1858," I, the Commissioner of Customs,
do hereby approve and appoint the undermentioned
Warehouses, viz. :-
Port of Wellington.
A brick building with iron roof, situate at the
corner of Customhouse Quay and Waring Taylor
Street, on the block of land originally known as the
Corporation Reserve; the warehouse to be known as
W. AND G. TURNBULL AND Co.'S BOND.
Port of Lyttelton.
A stone building roofed with slate, situate on
Town Section No. 738, in Hereford Street, Christ-
church, and known as
DALGETY'S BOND.
Port of Invercargill.
A portion of a brick building, situate on Section
12, Block I., Esk Street West, and known as
MCDONALD'S BOND,

-to be Warehouses for the reception of goods under
Bond.
Given under my hand at Wellington, this
thirteenth day of December, one thou-
sand eight hundred and seventy-seven.

Approving and Appointing a Kerosene Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.-In exercise of the powers in me for
this purpose vested by "The Customs Regula-
tion Act, 1858," I, the Commissioner of Customs, do
hereby approve and appoint the under-mentioned
Warehouse, viz.,-
Port of Wellington.
A building framed of wood and covered with gal-
vanized iron, situate on a piece of land reclaimed
from the sea at the foot of Cambridge Terrace (north
end), and known as
THE CORPORATION KEROSENE BOND,
to be a Warehouse for the reception and storage of
Kerosene and other oils under Bond.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
thirteenth day of December, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-seven.

Appointment of Six Examination Sheds at Dunedin.
CUSTOMS.-In exercise of the powers in me for
this purpose vested by "The Customs Regula-
tion Act Amendment Act, 1868," I, the Commis-
sioner of Customs, do hereby approve and appoint
the under-mentioned Warehouses, viz.,-
Port of Dunedin.
Six sheds in Rattray Street, and on Cross and
Rattray Street Wharves, framed of wood and covered
with galvanized iron, marked respectively "L,” β€œM,"
"N," "O," "P," "Q," and of the following dimen-
sions:--
L ... 154 feet long by 26 feet wide,
M, N, O, each 100 feet long by 22 feet wide,
P, Q 150 feet long by 22 feet wide,
to be Warehouses where goods may be deposited for
examination on the landing thereof.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
thirteenth day of December, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-seven.
