NOTICE is hereby given, that a Sitting of the
Supreme Court, for the despatch of Criminal
and Civil Business, will be holden at the Supreme
Court House, at Dunedin, on Tuesday, the second day
of January next, at the hour of ten o'clock in the
forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by
recognizances to appear as Prosecutors, Defendants,
or Witnesses, are required to give their attendance.

NOTICE is hereby given, that at an Extraordinary
General Meeting of Shareholders of the Tara-
naki Steam Navigation Company (Limited), held at
the offices of Messrs. Webster Brothers, Devon
Street, on Saturday, the 25th November, 1876, the
following Resolution was unanimously carried:—
"That the affairs of the Company have been fairly
wound up."

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given, that JESSIE ELIZA
DAVIS, of Onehunga, near Auckland, Widow,
claiming as sole Devisee under the Will of JAMES
DAVIS, late of Kaiwara, Clerk in Civil Service, has
applied to be registered as proprietor of all that
piece of land in the Provincial District of Wellington,
containing five (5) acres, more or less, being part of
Section No. 3, Kaiwara District.

And it is hereby further notified, that the said
Applicant will be registered accordingly, unless caveat
forbidding such Registration be lodged at this office
on or before the 13th day of January next.
