THE following Notice to Mariners, received from
the Harbour Board at Oamaru, is published for
general information.

NOTICE is hereby given, that on and after the 1st day
of December, 1876, a red light will be exhibited from
a staff on the north end of Breakwater, Oamaru
Bay.
The light will be at an elevation of 16 feet above
the sea level, and will be seen in clear weather three
to four miles from seaward, between bearings N.W.
and S.S.W. (magnetic).
During bad weather, when the danger lights (two
