Makirikiri ... The boundary commences at the north-west
corner of Section No. 344, left bank Wanganui,
and runs thence up the centre of the Makirikiri
Stream to the northern boundary of Section
No. 305; thence along the said northern bound-
ary to the western boundary of Section No. 312;
thence northerly and easterly along the western
and northern boundaries of the said section and
the production of the northern boundary of the
same to the centre of the Wangaehu River;
thence down the centre of the said river to the
north-east corner of Warrengate Riding; thence
westerly along the northern boundary of the
said riding to the eastern boundary of Waipa-
kura Riding; and thence northerly along the
said eastern boundary to the starting point.

Mangawhero Bounded towards the South by the northern
boundaries of Waitotara, Westmere, Brunswick,
Waipakura, and Makirikiri Ridings; towards

36, Blocks numbers CCLXVIII., CCLXIX.,

triet; towards the South-east by the centre of
the Rangitikei River; towards the South-west
by the shore of Cook Strait; and towards the
North-west by lines so as to include Blocks
numbers CXVII., CLXV., and CXLVII., and
by a line being the production of the north-west
boundary line of the last-named block to the
shore of Cook Strait.

the Turakina River, by the centre of the Makiri-

Porewa Stream, and by the centre of the Rangi-

Waipawa County to a point on the Ruahine
Range at the intersection with the production of
the north-eastern boundary of the Manchester
Highway District; towards the South-west by
a line from the said point to the Manchester
Highway District, thence by the Manchester
Highway District

Manchester Bounded towards the North-east by the Kiwitea
Riding; towards the West by Rangitikei
County; towards the South-west by the south-
western boundary lines of the Manchester High-
way District, and by a line bearing 135° magnetic
from the south-east corner of that district to the
summit of the Tararua Range; and towards the
East by Wairarapa West and Waipawa Coun-
ties.

Oroua ... Bounded towards the North-east by the Man-
chester Riding; towards the South-east by the
centre of the Oroua River; towards the South-
west by the north-eastern boundary lines of the
Township of Carnarvon; and towards the
North-west by the Rangitikei County.

Taonui ... Bounded towards the North-east by the Man-
chester Riding; towards the South-east by the
Wairarapa West County; towards the South-
west by the south-western boundary lines of the
Township of Fitzherbert, between the Manawatu
River and the summit of the Tararua Range;
towards the South by the centre of the Manawatu
River; and towards the North-west by the
centre of the Oroua River.

Kawakawa Bounded towards the North-east by Oroua

Awahou ... Bounded towards the North by the Kawa-

South-west by the centre of the Manawatu

Horowhenua Bounded towards the North-east and North-

Ridings; towards the South-east by the Wai-

WAIPAWA COUNTY.

Porangahau Bounded towards the South by Wairarapa
East County to Whahataura Trigonometrical
Station; thence towards the West along
the western boundary of the Tautane Block
to its north-western extremity; thence in a
line bearing north-north-east to the source of
the Tangaruhe Creek; thence in a line bearing
north-west to the southernmost corner of Block
No. 77, Porangahau District, on the Manga-
puaka Creek; down that creek to the Wangai
Stream, up that stream and along the western
boundary of Block No. 56 to the Tauraekaitai
Stream, thence down that stream to the west-
ern boundary of Block No. 37, along that
boundary to the Puriniu Stream, and up that
stream to the western boundary of Block No. 7,
