LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given, that MARGARET
DORAN, of Winton, in the County of South-
land, Widow, claiming as Devisee under the Will of
her late Husband, JAMES DORAN, late of Winton,
deceased, has applied to be registered as Proprietress
of deceased's interest in Sections 2 and 3, Block V.,
Town of East Winton, in Southland Land Registra-
tion District; and that she will be so registered
unless caveat forbidding the same be lodged within
six calendar months after the publication of this
notice.

of Toe-Toes District, in the County of South-
land, Settler, claiming as Devisee under the Will of
PETER GRANT, deceased, has applied to be registered
as Proprietor of deceased's interest in Section 14, in
Block I., and Sections 21 and 27, Block IV., Toe-
Toes, in the Southland Land Registration District;
and that he will be so registered unless caveat for-
bidding the same be lodged within six calendar
months after the publication of this notice.

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register the Champion Gold Mining Company,
as a Limited Company, under the provisions of "The
Mining Companies Act, 1872."

  1. The name of the Company is to be the Champion Gold
    Mining Company (Limited).
  2. The place of operations is at Owharoa, Ohinemuri Gold
    Field, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New
    Zealand.
  3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
    the corner of Albert and Brown Streets, Thames, in the Pro-
    vince of Auckland and Colony of New Zealand.
  4. The nominal capital of the Company is six thousand
    pounds sterling, in twelve thousand shares of ten shillings
    each.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is twelve thousand,
    being the entire number of shares in the Company.
  6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
  7. The amount already paid up is nil.
  8. The name of the Manager is Roderick McDonald Scott.
  9. The names and addresses and occupations of the share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are

IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given, that a General Meeting
of the Shareholders of this Company will be
held at the office of the Company, Wyndham Street,
in the City of Auckland, on Wednesday, the 20th
day of December, 1876, at 12 noon, for the pur-
pose of considering and passing (if approved) an
account showing the manner in which the said Com-
pany has been wound up.
