I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register the Perseverance Quartz Mining Com-
pany as a Limited Company, under the provisions
of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."

  1. The name of the Company is to be the Perseverance
    Quartz Mining Company.
  2. The place of operation is at Carrick Range,
    Cromwell.
  3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at

    six hundred pounds, in one thousand two hundred shares of
    three pounds each.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is eight hundred
    and fifty, being not less than two-thirds of the entire number
    of shares in the Company.

  7. The amount already paid up is two thousand pounds.
  8. The name of the Manager is Charles Colclough.

SECOND CALL.

A Meeting of the Directors of the above Com-
pany, held on Saturday, the 29th July, it was
resolved that a Call of 2s. 6d. per Share be made on
Wednesday, the 9th day of August next; same to be
paid at the office of the Company, Waimate.
