THE following letter from the Chief Secretary of
Victoria is published for general information.

Melbourne, 14th June, 1876.
SIR, I have the honor to inform you that this
colony is now free from the disease in Sheep known
as Scab, and that a notification to that effect will be
found in the accompanying issue of the Government
Gazette (page 1,093), declaring the whole of Victoria
to be a Clean District within the meaning of the
Scab Act.

VICTORIA A CLEAN DISTRICT UNDER "THE SCAB
ACT, 1870."
In pursuance of the 66th section of "The Scab Act,
1870," the Governor in Council has revoked all pre-
vious Orders in Council relating to the "Clean Dis-
tricts" of Victoria; and has ordered that the whole
of Victoria shall be a Clean District within the mean-
ing of the said Act.

Public Vaccinators appointed.

IT is hereby notified that, in conformity with the
provisions of "The Public Health Act, 1872,"
the under-mentioned gentlemen have been appointed
Public Vaccinators, to perform gratuitous vacci-
nation in accordance with the said Act and any
Regulations made or to be made thereunder, for the
districts mentioned in the Schedule hereto and set
opposite their names.
