Value of Improvements on Land to be added to
upset Price.

NORMANBY, Governor.

IN pursuance of the power and authority vested in
me for that purpose by the fifty-ninth section
of "The Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870," I do
hereby approve of the recommendation of the Waste
Lands Board of the Province of Westland, that the
value of the improvements on the section mentioned
in the following Schedule of land to be put up to
auction by the Waste Lands Board shall be added to
the upset price.

PROVINCE OF HAWKE'S BAY.

Cattle Inspector's Office,
Napier, 21st March, 1876.

SIR,-I have the honor to report that since the date of my last report (26th September, 1875), no cattle
affected with any contagious or infectious disease have been landed in Napier or otherwise introduced
to this province, and that all the cattle in Hawke's Bay are free from any contagious or infectious disease.

Auckland, 1st April, 1876.

SIR,-I have the honor to forward to you the return of cattle arrived at the Port of Auckland from
foreign ports during the quarter ending 31st March, with letter enclosing same to me by the Cattle In-
spector.
