LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the parcel of land
hereinafter described will be brought under
the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1870,"
unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within
one calendar month from the date of publication of
this notice in the Gazette.

NOTICE UNDER LAND TRANSFER ACT.
THE following application has been made under
the Act:-
JOHN LINTON, as Heir-at-law of JAMES LIN-
TON, late of Hokitika, Westland, deceased, to be regis-
tered as Proprietor of the eastern moiety of Allot-
ment 809, Stafford Street, Hokitika, aforesaid.
The Applicant will be registered as above unless
caveat forbidding same be lodged with the District
Land Registrar, at Hokitika, on or before the thir-
teenth day of December, 1876.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership
heretofore subsisting between us, the under-
signed, William Robert Mitchell and Abiel Gifford
Howland, in the business of Coach and Carriage Manu-
facturers and General Smiths, at Cashel Street, in
the City of Christchurch, under the style or firm of
"A. G. Howland and Co.," has been dissolved by
mutual consent, as from the twenty-fifth day of
April instant; and the said Business will be hence-
forth carried on by the said Abiel Gifford Howland,
who will pay and discharge all debts and liabilities,
and receive all moneys payable to the said late firm.
