N OTICE is hereby given, that SOPHIA MORSE,
late of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, and
Colony of New Zealand, but now of England, Widow
of Henry Porson Morse, late of Dunedin aforesaid,
Gentleman, has made application to the District
Land Registrar of the District of Otago, to be
registered as Proprietor in fee simple in Section
numbered 32, and part of Section numbered 33,
Block XXV., of the Town of Dunedin aforesaid, as
Devisee under the Will of the said HENRY PORSON
MORSE, deceased; and that the said Sophia Morse
will be so registered as such Proprietor unless caveat
be lodged forbidding the same within six calendar
months from the date of the publication of this
notice.

In the matter of the Bankruptcy Acts, and of John
McLean, of Westport, in the Province of Nelson,
in the Colony of New Zealand, Contractor for
the First Section of the Westport and Mount
Rochfort Railway; and in the matter of the
Petition of the Bank of New Zealand.
N OTICE is hereby given, that the said John
McLean did, on the second day of December,
1875, file in this Court a declaration signed by him,
and duly attested, that he was unable to meet his
engagements with his Creditors; that notice thereof
was gazetted in the Westport Times of the third of
December, 1875; that on Monday, the twentieth day
of December, he was adjudicated Bankrupt on a
Creditors' petition presented by the said Bank of
New Zealand; that at a meeting of Creditors ap-
pointed to be held at the Court House, Westport,
on the sixth day of January, 1876, Thomas Bailie,
of Westport, Merchant, was chosen Trustee; and
that this honorable Court, by order dated the
sixth day of January, 1876, confirmed such choice;
and lastly, that notice of such choice and confirmation
of Trustee was gazetted by advertisement in the
Westport Times newspaper of Friday, the seventh
day of January, 1876.
