following that stream until it strikes a spur, then up
that spur and along the range to a hill called
Kaitangata, thence to another hill called Kaitangata,
thence to the Kauarapaoa Stream and down the
course of that stream to the Whanganui River,
thence by a line to a hill called Tokamaru, thence to a
hill called Tuahiwi thence to a hill called Pukehinau,
thence to a hill called Rakautaua thence to a hill
called Rawaho and thence to the Kai Iwi Stream,
along the course of the said stream to the junction of
the Ruakorera Creek along the course of that creek
to a place called Mohero, thence to the Areihuka
hill, thence to the little Mangaone Creek, following
the course of that creek to its junction with the
Mangaone Creek, thence along the course of that
creek to its source, thence to a hill called Ratamaru-
maru, thence to another hill called Ratamarumaru
and to a third hill called Ratamarumaru, thence along
the Tirotiromoana Range and the Ngaruapekapeka
Range to the starting point.

Council; Knight Commander of the Most
Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George; Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same; and
issued under the Seal of the said Colony,
at Auckland, this eighteenth day of April,
in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-six.
