Auckland, Architect, and THOMAS SPENCER, of
Grahamstown aforesaid, Chemist. A new and
improved process for charging a Blast or other
Furnace with the Titaniferous Iron Ore commonly
called Iron Sand. 6th September, 1875. Not

No. 242. EDWARD HENRY WHITMORE and WIL-
LIAM CHARLES WOOLLIAM, both of Caversham,
Otago, Builders. The Improved Patent Earth
Closet. 10th September, 1875. Not proceeded
with.
No. 244. ROBERT HAWORTH, of Dunedin, Otago,
Iron Merchant and Sheep Farmer. Invention for
Fencing Land in order that such root crops as may
be grown thereon may be eaten off such land by
sheep or cattle. 20th September, 1875. Re-
fused.
No. 245. WALTER CARDER and GEORGE CARDER,
both of Auckland, Drain and Tile Makers. An
improved Junction Drain Pipe. 20th September,
1875. Application withdrawn.
Medical Referee appointed.
