TO JAMES MACANDREW, Esquire, Superintendent of
the Province Otago.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the several parcels of
waste lands of the Crown particularly specified
and described in the Schedule hereunder written are
required for the purpose mentioned and set opposite
to the descriptions of the said parcels of land re-
spectively in the said Schedule, and that the same
have been respectively excepted from sale and reserved
to Her Majesty by the Order in Council bearing the
date mentioned in the second column of the said
Schedule.

IN pursuance and exercise of all powers and au-
thorities enabling me in this behalf, I, George
Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby
appoint that sittings of the Licensing Court for the
Licensing District of Petane shall, until otherwise
ordered, be held at the Resident Magistrate's Court
House at Napier.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this thirty-first day of March,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
six.

Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby
appoint that sittings of the Licensing Courts for the
Licensing Districts of Taringatura, Wakatipu, and
Te Anau, shall, until otherwise ordered, be held at
the Resident Magistrate's Court House at Lowther.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the
Most Honorable George Augustus Con-
stantine, Marquis of Normanby, Earl of
Mulgrave, Viscount Normanby, and Baron
Mulgrave of Mulgrave, all in the County
of York, in the Peerage of the United
Kingdom; and Baron Mulgrave of New
Ross, in the County of Wexford, in the
Peerage of Ireland; a Member of Her
Majesty's Most Honorable Privy Council;
Knight Commander of the Most Distin-
guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint
George; Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and
Vice-Admiral of the same; at Napier, this
thirty-first day of March, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-six.

WHEREAS by the fourth section of "The Li-
censing Act 1873 Amendment Act, 1874," it
is, amongst other things, enacted that the Governor
may from time to time, by Warrant under his hand,
appoint such persons as he shall think fit to be Mem-
bers of a Licensing Court for any Licensing District
defined under "The Licensing Act, 1873:"
Now therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of the said
Colony, do hereby appoint the persons named in the
second column of the Schedule hereto attached to be
the Members of the Courts for the Licensing Districts
in the first column of the said Schedule placed oppo-
site their names, such appointments to take effect
from the twelfth day of March, 1876.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this thirty-first day of March,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
six.
