PERSONS desirous of obtaining Letters of Natu-
ralization, conferring upon them the privileges
of natural-born British subjects in New Zealand, are
informed that they can obtain full particulars of the
necessary steps to be taken by them on application
to the Resident Magistrate in any district, or to the
Colonial Secretary at Wellington.
The fee payable under "The Aliens Act, 1866," is
one pound sterling, and no other expense is entailed
on those who apply to the before-mentioned persons.

General Assembly of New Zealand, passed in
the eighteenth year of the reign of Her Majesty
Queen Victoria, and intituled "The Marriage Act,
1854," the following names of Officiating Ministers
within the meaning of the said Act are published for
general information: —
- United Church of England and Ireland.
- The Reverend Arthur Towgood, B.A.
- Hare Peka Taua.
- Roman Catholic Church.
- The Reverend Jean Baptiste Chataigner.
- Free Church of Scotland.
- The Reverend Samuel James Neill.
- Baptists.
- The Reverend John Davis.
The above name is a correction of and in substitu-
tion for the name of "James Davis," published in
the Gazette of 14th January, 1875, in which the
Christian name was erroneously given.
