Orphan Asylum, Lyttelton, to be an Industrial School.

PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by "The Neglected and Criminal
Children's Acts Amendment Act, 1875," it is
enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by
Proclamation in the New Zealand Gazette, declare
that any public school in which orphan children are
received and educated, either wholly or partly out of
public funds, shall be an Industrial School for the
purposes of "The Neglected and Criminal Children's
Act, 1867," or for such particular parts of the said
Act as shall be mentioned in any such Proclamation;
and, from and after a date to be fixed in and by such
Proclamation, such school shall be deemed to be an
Industrial School for the purposes in such Proclama-
tion set forth:
And whereas the Orphan Asylum at Lyttelton, in
the Province of Canterbury, is a public school in
which orphan children are received and educated
either wholly or partly out of the public funds;
and whereas it is expedient that such Orphan Asy-
lum should be declared to be an Industrial School, for
the purposes hereinafter appearing:
Now therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
power and authority vested in me by the above re-
cited Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
said Orphan Asylum at Lyttelton shall be, from and
after the first day of January next, an Industrial
ERRATUM. The following Form was inadvertently omitted in the publication of the rules and forms
under "The Debtors and Creditors Act, 1875," published in Gazette No. 72, of the 16th instant:--
11.-AFFIDAVIT ON BEHALF OF COMPANY.
In the Matter of "The Debtors and Creditors Act, 1875," and
in the Matter of the Liquidation of the Estate of (a)
a Debtor.
I, (b), of (c), (d), of (e)
make oath and say that I am duly authorized under the seal
of the (f) to make the proof of debt on its behalf.
That the said (a) was, at the date of his filing the state-
ment of his inability to pay his debts, and still is, justly and
truly indebted to the said (e) in the sum of
for [State consideration], for which said sum, or any part
thereof, I say that I have not, nor hath any person by my
order or to my knowledge or belief for the use of the said (e)
third section of the said "Neglected and Criminal
Children's Act, 1867."
Given under the hand of His Excellency
the Most Honorable George Augustus
Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, Earl
of Mulgrave, Viscount Normanby, and
Baron Mulgrave of Mulgrave, all in the
County of York, in the Peerage of the
United Kingdom; and Baron Mulgrave
of New Ross, in the County of Wexford,
in the Peerage of Ireland; a Member of
Her Majesty's Most Honorable Privy
Council; Knight Commander of the Most
Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George; Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and
Vice-Admiral of the same, and issued
under the Seal of the said Colony, at
the Government House, at Wellington,
this sixteenth day of December, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-five.

whatsoever, save and except the following: [If no security be
held, strike out from the word "whatsoever."] [Here set out
the particulars of the security, and the value at which the same
has been assessed.]
