AT REEFTON.

In the matter of "The Mining Companies Act,
1872," and in the matter of "The North Star
Gold Mining Company, Registered."

Saturday, the second day of October, 1875.

UPON hearing Mr. Button of Counsel for Louis
Davies, of Reefton, Sharebroker, and upon
reading the order of this Court made herein, dated
the tenth day of September, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-five, and upon reading the
several affidavits of Henry Lucas, William Sydney
Staite, and William Faler respectively, sworn and
filed herein, and the minutes of the meeting of Credi-
tors held at the Court House, Reefton, on the seven-
teenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred
and seventy-five, attached to and verified by the
affidavit of the said Henry Lucas, and upon reading
the acceptance of the office of Liquidator by Louis
Davies, duly verified by the affidavit of William
Sydney Staite, sworn and filed herein, it is ordered
that the choice of the Creditors at the said meeting
in electing Louis Davies, of Reefton, aforesaid,
Sharebroker, to be the Liquidator of the estate of
the above-named Company, as successor to William
Faler, whose resignation has been accepted, be and
the same is hereby confirmed; and the remuneration
of the said Liquidator shall be and the same is here-
by fixed at the sum of twenty-five pounds. And the
Court doth order that the office at present in the
occupation of the said Liquidator, in Reefton afore-
said, shall be the office of the said Company; and
that the moneys to arise from the winding-up of the
said Company shall be paid into the Bank of New
Zealand, to the credit of an account to be entitled
"In the matter of the winding-up of 'The North Star
Gold Mining Company, Registered.'" And it is
hereby also ordered that this order be forthwith
gazetted in the General Government Gazette.
