Waikoikoi Hundred, thirty-one thousand five hundred
(31,500) links; thence in a southerly direction along
the western boundaries of Waikoikoi Hundred, Sec-
tions 1 and 2, Block II., Glenkenich District, and
Block numbered VI. of the said Glenkenich Survey
District, fifty-seven thousand two hundred (57,200)
links, to a point due east of Trig. Station U, Glen-
kenich Survey District; thence due west, thirty-
five thousand nine hundred (35,900) links, to the
Waikaka Stream; thence in a northerly direction
along the Waikaka Stream and its eastern branch,
sixty-six thousand six hundred. (66,600) links, to the
starting point.
SCHEDULE No. 7.
Chatton Hundred.
ALL that parcel of land in the Province of Otago,
in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by estima-
tion twenty thousand (20,000) acres, more or less,
situate in the South-Eastern Pastoral District, being
part of Run numbered 111 on the map of the said
Pastoral District. Bounded by a line commencing at
the north-eastern corner of Otama Survey District,
and proceeding due east to the west branch of Wai-
kaka Stream, thirty-one thousand four hundred
(31,400) links; thence in a south-easterly direction
along the west branch of the said Waikaka Stream,
eighty-three thousand one hundred (83,100) links, to
a point due east of Trig. Station J, Chatton Survey
District; thence due west to the western boun-
dary of Section numbered 6, Block III., Chatton
Survey District, twenty-five thousand seven hundred
(25,700) links; thence due south to the main interior
road to Pyramid, three thousand one hundred and
twenty (3,120) links; thence in a westerly direction
along the said road line, twenty thousand one hundred
(20,100) links, to a point due west of the said Sta-
tion J; thence due west to Otama Survey District,
eighteen thousand (18,000) links; thence due north,
forty-two thousand six hundred and sixty-seven
(42,667) links, to the starting point.
SCHEDULE No. 8.
Kingston Hundred.
ALL that parcel of land in the Province of Otago,
containing by estimation eight thousand (8,000) acres,
more or less, situated in the South-Eastern Pastoral
District, being parts of Runs numbered respectively
214 and 323 on the map of the said district. Boun-
ded by a line commencing at a point on the Mataura
River, at the most southerly corner of Section 4,
Block II, Kingston Survey District; thence in a
north-easterly direction, eleven thousand nine hun-
dred (11,900) links; thence in a line due east from
the most easterly corner of said Section 4, Block II.,
Kingston Survey District, two thousand (2,000)
links; thence in a line running due south, forty
thousand (40,000) links; thence in a line due west,
twenty-two thousand (22,000) links, to the Mataura
River; thence by the said river to the starting point,
forty thousand (40,000) links. Be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency
the Most Honorable George Augustus Con-
stantine, Marquis of Normanby, Earl of
Mulgrave, Viscount Normanby, and
Baron Mulgrave of Mulgrave, all in
the County of York, in the Peerage of
the United Kingdom; and Baron Mul-
grave of New Ross, in the County of
Wexford, in the Peerage of Ireland; a
Member of Her Majesty's Most Honor-

able Privy Council; Knight Commander
of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint
Michael and Saint George; Governor
and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her
Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and
its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of
the same; and issued under the Seal
of the said Colony, at the Government
House at Wellington, this eleventh day
of October, in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

Maketu.

A PROCLAMATION.
TN pursuance and exercise of the power and
I authority in me vested in this behalf by "The
Resident Magistrates Act, 1867," I, George Augustus
Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that, from and after the first day of November
next, the jurisdiction of the Resident Magistrate's
Court for the
MAKETU DISTRICT,
as the same is defined in a Proclamation bearing date
the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-seven, shall be extended to
Fifty Pounds.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the
Most Honorable George Augustus Con-
stantine, Marquis of Normanby, Earl of
Mulgrave, Viscount Normanby, and
Baron Mulgrave of Mulgrave, all in
the County of York, in the Peerage of

has been advised to assent to the same.
