Sections 20 to 45 of "The Public Health Act, 1872,"
to be in force in the Province of Nelson.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-first day of September, 1875.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the nineteenth section of "The
Public Health Act, 1872," it is enacted that
the Governor in Council may make orders from time
to time directing that the provisions thereinafter in
Second Part of the said Act contained, or any of them,
be put in force in New Zealand, or in such parts
thereof or in such places therein as in such orders re-
spectively may be expressed, and may in like manner
revoke or renew any such order; and, subject to such re-
vocation or renewal as aforesaid, every such order shall
be in force for six calendar months from the publication
of such order, or for such shorter period as in such
order shall be expressed, and no longer; and every such
order shall be published in the General Government
Gazette, and such publication shall be conclusive
evidence of such order to all intents and purposes;
and none of the said provisions shall be in force in
any part of New Zealand until an order directing the
same to be put in force shall have been made and
published as aforesaid:
Now therefore, His Excellency the Governor, with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and
in exercise and pursuance of all power and authority
in this behalf in him vested, doth hereby direct that
the provisions contained in the sections of the said
Act numbered from twenty to forty-five, both in-
clusive, shall be put in force in the Province of Nelson.

Reserves in the Province of Westland.
NORMANBY, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and autho-
rity in me vested in this behalf by the regulations
for the sale and disposal of waste lands in the Pro-
vince of Westland, I hereby reserve the lands in the
said Province of Westland, the boundaries whereof
are described in the Schedule hereunto annexed, for
the uses of the Colonial Government, and other
public purposes, as in the said Schedule is more
particularly specified.
SCHEDULE.
RESERVE No. 102.--One acre one rood and thirty-
six perches, more or less, situate in the Town of
Arawata; bounded on the Southward by Bonar
Street, two hundred and sixty-six links; on the North-
eastward by High Street, six hundred and thirty-nine
links; on the North-westward by Section 59, two
hundred and fifty links; and on the South-westward
by a straight line parallel with High Street, five
hundred and forty-five links, comprising Sections
numbered 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, and 58-for educational
(school) purposes.
RESERVE NO. 103.-One acre and four perches,
more or less, situate in the Town of Arawata;
bounded on the Eastward by the Esplanade, four
hundred and forty-two links; on the South-westward
by High-Street, seven hundred and fifty-four links;
and on the Northward by Sections 22 and 4, four
hundred and ninety-six links, and comprising Sections
1, 2, 3, and 23-for General Government purposes.
RESERVE NO. 104.-Five perches, more or less,
situate in the Town of Arawata; bounded on the
Northward by Bonar Street, sixty-eight links; on
the South-westward by High Street, one hundred
and one links; and on the Eastward by Pier Street,
one hundred links, and comprising Section 90-for
General Government purposes, and more particularly
for a Post Office reserve.
RESERVE No. 105. - One acre one rood and five
perches, more or less, situate in the Town of Ara-
wata; bounded on the Northward by Bonar Street,
four hundred and fifty-three links; on the Westward
by Pier Street, one hundred and seventy-four links;
on the Southward by Pier Street, five hundred links;
on the Eastward by the Esplanade, two hundred and
seventy-five links; and on the North-eastward by
Fitzgerald Street, ninety-five links, comprising Sec-
