THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
The deaths from Zymotic Diseases were 3 less in number than in June. There were 2 deaths from Typhus Fever—1 in
Wellington, and 1 in Nelson. Deaths from Typhoid fell from 17 in June to 10 in July—of these deaths 5 occurred in Auckland,
1 in Wellington, 1 in Christchurch, and 3 in Dunedin.
The deaths from Local Diseases show a decrease of 21 on the number in June. Of these the deaths from diseases of the
Nervous System fell from 22 in June to 15 in July; and the deaths from diseases of the Respiratory Organs, from 28 in June to
21 in July. The deaths from diseases of the Organs of Circulation were 10 in June to 7 in July; the latter number, including
1 female of 81, 1 male of 71, and 1 male of 65, from Heart Disease. Developmental Diseases were 25 in July to 12 in June.
