Volunteer Corps disbanded.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to
disband the under-mentioned Corps, viz.,-

The Lyttelton Artillery Volunteers,
The Manukau Rifle Volunteers,
The Pokeno Rifle Volunteers,
The Waikato Rifle Volunteers,
The Opotiki Rifle Volunteers,
The Totara Rifle Volunteers,
The Wellington Scottish Rifle Volunteers,
The Gisborne Rifle Volunteers,
The No. 9 Company, Canterbury Rifle Volunteers,
The Waimea Rifle Volunteers.

The under-mentioned gentlemen have therefore
ceased to hold the rank of officers in the Volunteer
Force, their commissions having, under the provisions
of "The Volunteer Act, 1865," lapsed :-

Edward Giraud, Esq., late Captain, Lyttelton
Artillery Volunteers ;
Wm. Hy. Porter, Esq., late Captain, Pokeno
Rifle Volunteers ;
Colin Campbell, Esq., late Captain, Totara Rifle
