Fixing Site for a Town, Province of Westland.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the thirty-second section of "The
Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870," it is
enacted that the sites of towns shall from time to
time be determined by the Governor upon the re-
commendation of the Provincial Council, and shall
be notified by Proclamation in the Province of West-
land Gazette: And whereas the said Provincial
Council has recommended that the land described in
the Schedule hereto should be a site for a town
within the meaning of the said section of the Act:
Now therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, Governor of New Zealand, in
exercise and pursuance of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, do hereby determine and
fix the land described in the Schedule hereto to be a
site for a town within the meaning of the thirty-
second section of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
DUNGANVILLE.
FORTY-FIVE (45) acres one (1) rood and twenty-six
(26) perches, more or less : commencing at a point
on the west side of the Maori Creek five chains south
from the crossing of the said creek by track to
German Gully; thence westerly on a bearing of 248°
30' magnetic for nine chains, and south-westerly at a
bearing of 226° magnetic for ten chains fifty links;
thence north-westerly at a right angle for twenty
chains fifty links; thence north-easterly at a right
angle for fourteen chains eighty links; thence
easterly at a bearing of 68° 30' magnetic to Maori
Creek, and thence southerly down the west bank of
the said creek to the commencing point.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the
Most Honorable George Augustus Con-
stantine, Marquis of Normanby, Earl of
Mulgrave, Viscount Normanby, and Baron
Mulgrave of Mulgrave, all in the County
of York, in the Peerage of the United
Kingdom; and Baron Mulgrave of New
Ross, in the County of Wexford, in the
Peerage of Ireland; a Member of Her
Majesty's Most Honorable Privy Coun-
cil; Knight Commander of the Most
Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George; Governor and Com-
mander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zealand and its Depend-
encies; and Vice-Admiral of the same;
and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House at
Wellington, this twenty-third day of
June, in the year of our Lord one thou-
sand eight hundred and seventy-five.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At Wellington, this twenty-third day of June, 1875.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the nineteenth section of "The
Public Health Act, 1872," it is enacted that
the Governor in Council may make orders from time
to time directing that the provisions thereinafter in
that part of the said Act contained, or any of them,
be put in force in New Zealand, or in such parts
thereof or in such places therein as in such orders re-
spectively may be expressed, and may in like manner
revoke or renew any such order; and, subject to revoca-
tion or renewal as aforesaid, every such order shall be
in force for six calendar months from the publication of
such order, or for such shorter period as in such order
shall be expressed, and no longer; and every such
order shall be published in the General Government
Gazette, and such publication shall be conclusive
evidence of such order to all intents and purposes;
and none of the said provisions shall be in force in
any part of New Zealand until an order directing the
same to be put in force shall have been made and
published as aforesaid :
