THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

is intended to acquire, on behalf of the said Corpora-
tion, over or in respect of the said Suburbs and the
inhabitants thereof, all such and the same rating
powers as the said Corporation now has over or in
respect of the said City and the inhabitants thereof
by virtue of "The Dunedin Waterworks Act, 1874."

And notice is hereby given, that plans and a book
of reference showing the situation, course, and direc-
tion of the said Water of Leith and its tributaries,
the lands intended to be taken as aforesaid, and the
Suburbs of the said City intended to be affected by
the said Bill, and copies of the Gazette notice of the
intended application, will be deposited for public in-
spection at the Office of the Commissioner of Crown
Lands, Dunedin, at least thirty days before the
commencement of the ensuing Session of the General
Assembly.

And notice is hereby given, that copies of the said
Bill will be deposited in the Examiner's Office, at
Wellington, either before or within fourteen days
after the commencement of the ensuing Session of the
General Assembly.
