register "The Band of Hope Gold Mining
Company" as a Limited Company, under the pro-
visions of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."

A Meeting of the Shareholders of "The Auck-
land Whaling Company, Limited, held in the
Office of the Company, 49, Insurance Buildings,
Auckland, on the 17th May, 1875,

It was moved by Mr. Bernhardt Levy, and
seconded by Mr. Henry Snell, "It is the
opinion of this Meeting that the affairs of
'The Auckland Whaling Company. Limited,'
have been fairly wound up."---Carried.

FIVE POUNDS REWARD.

A NY Person who shall give such information as
to the whereabouts of MICHAEL TAAFFE, who
left Ireland in the year 1857 for Melbourne. He is,
if living, thirty-six years of age; of a sallow com-
plexion, dark brown hair, with a flesh-mark on his
forehead; height about five feet eight inches. He
worked some time on the Ballarat Gold Diggings,
and after some short time left for the Snowy River
Diggings, and has not been since heard of. Any
person furnishing the required information will re-
ceive the above reward from

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership
which has for some time past been carried' on
by Edward Isaacs and Henry Isaacs, under the firm
of "E. and H. Isaacs," at the City of Auckland, in
the business of Auctioneers and General Merchants,
was, on the 22nd day of February last, dissolved by
mutual consent.
