STATUTORY NOTICE TO CREDITORS.
PURS
URSUANT to the seventh section of the Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, 26 Victoria,
No. 7, intituled "An Act for better securing Trust
Funds, and for the relief of Trustees," and by virtue
of an Order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand,
Canterbury District, dated the twenty-third day of
April, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five,
notice is hereby given, that all creditors and other
persons having any claims or demands against the
estate of William Hammond, late of Lyttelton, in the
Province of Canterbury, in New Zealand, and formerly
of Long Lane, Bermondsey, London, in England,
Hotelkeeper, who died at Lyttelton aforesaid on or
about the first day of March, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-five, and letters of administra-
tion of whose personal estate were duly granted to
Charles Franklin Todhunter, of the City of Christ-
church, in the Province of Canterbury, Brewer, by the
said Court, on the nineteenth day of March, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-five, are hereby
required to send, in writing, the particulars of their
claims or demands to the said Charles Franklin
Todhunter, at his residence aforesaid, or to the under-
signed, William Henry Wynn Williams, the Solicitor
of the said Charles Franklin Todhunter, at the office
of the said William Henry Wynn Williams, situate
at Hereford Street, in the said City of Christchurch,
on or before the twenty-third day of October, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-five. And notice
is hereby also given, that at the expiration of the last-
mentioned day, the said Charles Franklin Todhunter
will proceed to distribute the assets of the said
William Hammond amongst the parties entitled
thereto, having regard to the claims of which the said
Charles Franklin Todhunter has then had notice;
and that the said Charles Franklin Todhunter will
not be liable for the assets, or any part thereof, so
distributed, to any person of whose claim the said
Charles Franklin Todhunter has not had notice at the
time of the distribution.
Dated this twenty-third day of April, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-five.
