LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that RAMIERA MA-
TENGA, of Golden Bay, in the Province of
Nelson, an Aboriginal Native, claiming as heir-at-
law of his brother Pirimona Matenga, late of the
same place, deceased intestate, has applied to be
registered as proprietor of all that parcel of land, con-
taining by admeasurement 50 acres, more or less,
situated in the District of Ligar Bay, in the said
Province, being Section numbered "19a" on square
numbered "12" of the plan of the Province of Nelson,
and that he will be so registered unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same within six calendar
months after publication of this notice in the
Gazette.

Dated at the Lands Registry Office, Nelson, this
31st day of March, 1875.

hereinafter described will be brought under
the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1870,"
unless caveat in the meantime be lodged forbidding
the same within one calendar month from the date
of publication of this notice in the Gazette.

In the matter of a Bill to be intituled "An Act
to Incorporate the Trustees under 'The Pres-
byterian Church of Otago Lands Act, 1866:'"
Also to give power to incorporate the members
of the Deacons' Court of any Congregation
now or which hereafter may be under the
jurisdiction of the Synod or other Supreme
Court for the time being of the Presbyterian
Church of Otago and Southland.

NOTICE is hereby given, that application is in-
tended to be made to the General Assembly of
New Zealand, at the ensuing session thereof, for leave
to bring in a Bill to be shortly intituled "The Pres-
byterian Church of Otago Incorporation Act, 1875,"
and that the objects of such Bill will be to incorporate
the Trustees under the said Act of 1866, and their
successors in office, by the name of "The Otago
Presbyterian Church Board of Property," with per-
petual succession and a common seal; to enable the
said Trustees in their corporate name to sue and be
sued, to acquire hold lease manage and dispose of
property, and to execute deeds and contracts: Also,
to authorize the incorporation of the members of the
Deacons' Court of any Congregation now or which
hereafter may be under the jurisdiction of the said
Synod or other Supreme Court, with perpetual suc-
cession and a common seal, and to enable the members
of any such Deacons' Court so incorporated, in their
corporate name, to sue and be sued, acquire hold
manage and dispose of property, and execute deeds
and contracts: Also, to enable the said Synod in
certain events to assure or otherwise deal with pro-
perty belonging to any such Congregation. And also

to make general provisions for purpose incidental to
the objects aforesaid.

And notice is hereby given, that copies of the said
Bill will be deposited in the Examiner's Office within
fourteen days after the commencement of the Session.

sand eight hundred and seventy-five.

THE NUGGET AND CORNISH QUARTZ MINING
COMPANY, REGISTERED.

INCREASE OF CAPITAL.

I, the undersigned Manager, hereby give notice
that an increase in the capital of the above-
named Company was, on the tenth day of February,
1875, resolved on.

The mode adopted for the increase is by issuing
20,000 shares of one pound (£1) each, of which
12,480 shares will be held by the present share-
holders as paid-up shares, in lieu of the shares now
held by them (consisting of 624 of £12 10s. each),
and of the remainder 6,000 will be offered to the
public, and 1,520 will be held as a reserve fund.

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register "The Perseverance Company, Limited,"
as a Limited Company, under the provisions of "The
Mining Companies Act, 1872."

  1. The name of the Company is to be "The Perseverance
    Company, Limited."
  2. The place of intended operations is at Carrick Range.
  3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
    Melmore Terrace, Cromwell.
  4. The nominal capital of the Company is £3,600.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is 1,200, being not
    less than two-thirds of the entire number of shares in the
    Company.
  6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
  7. The amount already paid up is nominally £1,800.
  8. The name of the manager is Charles Colclough.
