PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, passed in
the eighteenth year of the reign of Her Majesty
Queen Victoria, and intituled "The Marriage Act,
1854," the following names of Officiating Ministers
within the meaning of the said Act are published for
general information:---

  • Free Church of Scotland.
    The Reverend James McKee.
  • Wesleyan Methodist Society.
    The Reverend William Worker.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.

DIVORCE AND MATRIMONIAL CAUSES JURISDICTION.

NOTICE is hereby given, that three or more of
the Judges of the Supreme Court of New
Zealand will sit at the Supreme Court House,
Wellington, on Wednesday, the 19th day of May next,
at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, to hear and deter-
mine petitions for the dissolution or for a sentence
of nullity of marriage, under section 60 of "The
Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Act, 1867," and
also for the despatch of all other business accruing
under the said Act.

Dated at Auckland, this twentieth day of March,
1875.

NOTICE.

"Provincial Compulsory Lands Taking Act, 1866."

NOTICE is hereby given, that it is intended to
introduce a Bill into the Provincial Council of
the Province of Otago at its next Session, authorizing
the Superintendent of the Province of Otago to take
compulsorily, for the purpose of making roads in the
District of Portobello, parts of Sections numbered
respectively twenty-two (22) and twenty-eight (28),
Block numbered five (V.), Portobello District, and
in the District of Papakaio part of Land sold under
application numbered 2229, Block numbered IV.
on the map of the Papakaio District. And notice is
hereby further given, that a copy of the Bill so
intended to be introduced as aforesaid may be in-
spected at the office of the Clerk of the Provincial
Council, on and after the seventeenth day of April
next.

Dated at Dunedin, this eleventh day of March,
1875.
