HIS Excellency the Governor has been
pleased to appoint the following gentlemen to be Regis-
trars of Marriages, and of Births, Deaths and Mar-
riages, and also Vaccination Inspectors, for the
districts set opposite their names, as the same are
defined in Proclamation of the 23rd day of March,
1875, and published in the New Zealand Gazette,
No. 18, of the 25th day of March, 1875. These
appointments to take effect on and from the 15th
day of April, 1875.

THE following Ordinance, passed by the Provincial
Council, and assented to by the Superintendent
of Taranaki on behalf of the Governor, intituled
"The Appropriation Ordinance, 1875,"
having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency
has not been advised to exercise his power of dis-
allowance in respect of the same.

election of a Superintendent of the Province of
Auckland has been returned with a certificate to the
effect that

has been duly elected.
