I,
the undersigned, hereby make application to
register "The Independent Gold Mining Com-
pany," as a Limited Company, under the provisions
of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."

1. The name of the Company is to be "The Independent
   Gold Mining Company, Limited."
2. The place of operations is on Adam Smith's line of Reef,
   near Murray Creek, on the Inangahua River, in the Province
   of Nelson.
3. The Registered Office of the Company will be situated at
   Broadway, Reefton, in the Province of Nelson.
4. The nominal capital of the Company is £12,000, in 24,000
   shares of 10s. each.
5. The number of shares subscribed for is 24,000, being not
   less than two-thirds of the entire number of shares in the
   Company.
6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
7. The amount already paid up is £6,000, representing the
   value of claim and the work done thereon.
