Magistrate.

the Civil Service :—

Captain BURTON JOHN DAVENEY
to be a Clerk in the Imperial Pensions Office, Auck-
land, as from the 1st October instant.

CHARLES O'HARA SMITH
to be a Clerk in the Treasury. Appointment to date
from the 1st May, 1874.

and Regulations for the Competition for the
Prizes offered by the General Government for the
year 1875, are now published, and may be obtained
on application to the Officers Commanding the several
Districts.
