Fergusson, Baronet, the Governor of New Zealand,
do hereby cancel and annul the definition of the
limits of the Port of Shortland made by Warrant
under the hand of the Governor dated the twentieth
day of November, in the year of our Lord one thou-
sand eight hundred and sixty-eight, and do hereby
order that for the purposes of "The Marine Act,
1867," the seaward limits of the said port shall be

A circle of five nautic miles radius from Opani
Point:

And I do further order that the port thus defined
shall hereafter be called

THE PORT OF THAMES.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the
Right Honorable Sir James Fergusson,
Baronet, a Member of Her Majesty's Most
Honorable Privy Council, Governor and
Commander-in-Chief in and over Her
Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and
its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of
the same, at the Government House, at
Wellington, this seventh day of Septem-
ber, in the year of our Lord one thousand

"The Hokitika Street Closing Ordinance, 1874,"

having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency
has not been advised to exercise his power of dis-
allowance in respect of the same.

as Vice-Consul for Germany at Dunedin, during
the absence of Mr. Henry Houghton, the German
Consul.

under the provisions of "The Public Health Act,
1872," His Excellency the Governor has been pleased

Public Vaccinator to perform gratuitous vaccination
in accordance with the provisions of the said Act,
and any regulations made or to be made thereunder,
for the Districts mentioned in the Schedule hereto,
and set opposite his name.
