RESULT of the COMPETITION for Choice of COLONIAL REPRESENTATIVES, 1874. A percentage,
according to the number of efficient Volunteers, was allowed for each district as "District
Representatives," who were selected by the highest scores made in a Match at 200, 400, 500,
and 600 yards. These District Representatives then competed at the same ranges for choice
of Colonial Representatives.
Seven shots at each range. Highest possible score, 112 points. Minimum score to qualify, 80 points.
