Inspectors of Weights and Measures.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased
to appoint the following persons Inspectors
of Weights and Measures, under "The Weights and
Measures Act, 1868," for the Districts in the Pro-
vince of Otago, set opposite their names, respect-
ively, viz. :-

Deputy Registrar of Marriages, &c., appointed.

GEORGE CLARK, Esq.,
to be Deputy of the Registrar of Marriages, and of
Births, Deaths, and Marriages, for the District of
Oamaru, as the same is defined in Proclamation of
the 21st day of January, 1870, and published in the
New Zealand Gazette, No. 5, of 22nd January, 1870.

published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 28, of
9th May, 1873.

Claims for Bonus for Colonial Industries.

ERRORS and omissions having inadvertently oc-
curred in the list published in the New Zealand
Gazette, No. 2, of 15th instant, of persons who have
given notice of their intention to claim the Bonus
offered by Government for the manufacture of Pig
Iron, and of Sugar from Beetroot, the following
correct list of claimants is now published for general
information.
