LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the several parcels
of land hereinafter described will be brought
under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act,
1870," unless caveat in the meantime be lodged for-
bidding the same.
Section 97, Revell Street, Town of Hokitika, Pro-
vince of Westland. - Applicant, JOHN ALFRED
ROSCOW, now or late of Hokitika, Hotelkeeper.
Section 1475, Revell Street, Town of Hokitika,
Province of Westland. - Applicant, HYMAN GOUL-
STON, otherwise GOLDSTONE, of Hokitika,
Draper.
Section 131, Revell Street, Town of Hokitika,
Province of Westland. - Applicant, MICHAEL
ALBERT CASSIUS, of Hokitika, Merchant.
Caveats in any of the above cases may be lodged
at this office within one calendar month after the date
of the Gazette containing this notice.
Diagrams may be inspected at this office.

In the matter of a Bill to be intituled "An Act to
incorporate the Proprietors of a certain Banking
Company called 'The Colonial Bank of New
Zealand.'"
NOTICE is hereby given, that application is in-
tended to be made to the General Assembly at
the ensuing Session thereof for leave to bring in a
Bill to be intituled "An Act to incorporate the Pro-
prietors of a certain Banking Company called 'The
Colonial Bank of New Zealand," and that the
objects of such Bill will be to incorporate the pro-
prietors of the said Company by the name of "The
Colonial Bank of New Zealand," with perpetual
succession and a common seal; to enable the Company
to sue and be sued in their corporate names; to issue
promissory notes in New Zealand payable to bearer
on demand; and to carry on, by means of a branch
or branches in any part or parts of the Colony of
New Zealand, the different kinds of Banking and
other business specified in the Deed of Settlement
of the said Company.
And notice is hereby given, that copies of the said
Bill will be deposited in the Examiner's office within
fourteen days after the commencement of the
Session.

eight hundred and seventy-four.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership
hitherto carried on between David Calders and
John Bates, of the Rainbow Hotel, Kaiwara, as
Innkeepers, has this day been dissolved by mutual
consent.
All debts due to the late firm of Calders and Bates
must be paid to David Calders, to whom all claims
against the said firm must be forwarded.
