Certificates suspended.

Customs Department (Marine Branch),
Wellington, 24th April, 1874.

IT is hereby notified, that His Excellency the
Governor has been pleased to confirm the
sentences of the Courts of Inquiry into the wrecks
of the "Silver Lining," "Cyrus," and "Wellington;"
and that the Certificate of Competency as Master,
issued by the Marine Board of New South Wales,
No. 8, held by

JAMES TAYLOR,

is therefore suspended for a period of six months
from the 25th March last; the Certificate of Com-
petency as Master, issued by the Steam Navigation
Board of Victoria, No. 41, held by

POWELL ANDREWS,

is suspended for a period of twelve months from the
19th March last; and that the Certificate of Service,
issued by the Marine Board of New South Wales,
No. 62, held by

HENRY EDWARD HILL,

is suspended for a period of six months from 19th
March last.

Warehouses under "The Customs Regulation Act
Amendment Act, 1858," approved.

CUSTOMS. - In exercise of the powers in me for
this purpose vested by "The Customs Regula-
tion Act, 1858," I, the Commissioner of Customs, do
hereby approve and appoint the under-mentioned
Warehouses, viz.,-

Port of Wanganui.
The whole of a two-storied building situate on
Taupo Quay, Wanganui, formerly known as "Lewis's
Bond," at present occupied by Mr. Edward Wright,
and known as

WRIGHT'S BOND.

Port of Lyttelton.
A wooden building with iron roof situate in High
Street, Christchurch, at present occupied by Mr.
Henry Hayes Hannah, and known as

HANNAH'S BOND,

to be Warehouses for the reception of goods under
Bond.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
twenty-fifth day of April, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-four.
