Vaccination Districts constituted.
JAMES FERGUSSON, Governor.
WHEREAS by "The Public Health Act, 1872,"
it is, among other things, provided that the
Governor may from time to time divide New Zealand,
or such part thereof as he shall think fit, into con-
venient districts for affording increased facilities for
vaccination, and from time to time to alter the
boundaries of any such districts heretofore formed or
that the districts hereinafter mentioned should be
constituted under the said Act:
Now therefore, I, Sir James Fergusson, Baronet,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me under the hereinbefore in part recited
Act, do hereby constitute the several portions of the
said Colony which are described in the Schedule
hereto, to be districts under the said Act, for afford-
ing increased facilities for vaccination; and I do
hereby also declare that each such district shall be
called and known by the name set forth at the
beginning of the description thereof in the said
Schedule.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the
Right Honorable Sir James Fergusson,
Baronet, a Member of Her Majesty's
Most Honorable Privy Council, Governor
and Commander-in-Chief in and over
Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand
and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued at Cambridge,
this twenty-third day of April, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-four.

SCHEDULE.
PROVINCE OF NELSON.
- COBDEN.
COMMENCING at the south headland of the Porarari
River; thence along the watershed line which includes
all the drainage area of the Porarari River to the
Paparoha Range; thence along the Paparoha Range,
southward, to the junction of the River Arnold and
the River Grey; thence following the River Grey to
the sea, and by the sea coast to the south headland
of the Porarari River.
- AHAURA.
Commencing at the junction of the Arnold and
Grey Rivers, following the boundaries of the Cobden
District and the Charleston District along the
summit of the Paparoha Range till it meets a straight
line drawn from the mouth of the Totara River to
the saddle between the Mawhera-iti and Inangahua
Rivers; thence along the said line to the said saddle;
thence along the watershed between the Grey River
and its tributaries on the South, and the Buller
River and its tributaries on the North, to the range
which forms the watershed between the River
Waiawua and its tributaries, and the River Grey and
its tributaries; thence along that range to the saddle
between the Rivers Hurunui and Teremakau; thence
along the boundary of the Canterbury Province to
the junction of the Grey and Arnold Rivers.
Vaccine Lymph to be kept at Public Vaccinator's
Office at Auckland.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased,
under the 89th section of "The Public Health
Act, 1872," to appoint
The PUBLIC VACCINATOR'S OFFICE at AUCKLAND
to be a place where a supply of pure Vaccine Lymph
shall be kept for supply to Public Vaccinators and
to legally qualified Medical Practitioners.

IT is hereby notified, that, under the provisions of
"The Public Health Act, 1872," His Excellency
has been pleased to appoint the under-mentioned
gentlemen to be Public Vaccinators to perform
gratuitous vaccination in accordance with the provi-
sions of the said Act, and any regulations made or to
be made thereunder, for the districts mentioned in
the Schedule hereto, and set opposite their names.
