DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership
hitherto subsisting between the undersigned,
Robert George Gibbons, junior, and Robert Vernon
Smith, in the Town of Havelock, Marlborough, New
Zealand, as Brewers and Cordial Manufacturers, has
this day been dissolved by mutual consent.
The business will be carried on by Robert Vernon
Smith alone, to whom all debts due to the Partner-
ship must be paid, and the liabilities of the Partner-
ship will be settled by him.

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register "The Phoenix (late 'Maori Reserve')
Gold Mining Company, Limited," as a Limited
Company, under the provisions of "The Mining
Companies Act, 1872."

1. The name of the Company is to be "The Phoenix (late
   'Maori Reserve') Gold Mining Company, Limited."
2. The place of operations is at Arthur's Town, near Wood-
   stock, in the Kanieri District.
3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
   Hamilton Street, Hokitika.
4. The nominal capital of the Company is sixteen thousand
   pounds, in eight thousand shares of two pounds each, with
   power to increase to twenty thousand pounds.
5. The number of shares subscribed for is eight thousand,
   being not less than two-thirds of the entire number of shares
   in the Company.
6. The number of paid-up shares is four thousand.
7. The amount already paid up is twelve thousand pounds.
8. The name of the Manager is George Frederick Hawkins,
   of Hokitika, in the County of Westland, Notary Public.
