Memorandum of Association (with Articles of Asso-
ciation annexed), establishing a Company, with
limited liability of the Shareholders therein, intituled
"The Mosgiel Woollen Factory Company,
Limited;"
the objects for which the said Company is established
being "the purchasing the Mosgiel Woollen Factory,
the property of Messieurs A. J. Burns and Company,
and the carrying on the business of Woollen Manu-
facturers."
And I hereby further notify, that in pursuance of
"The Joint Stock Companies Act, 1860," I have
issued a Certificate of Incorporation of the said
Company, bearing date the seventh day of November,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

Port Chalmers Waterworks.
NOTICE is hereby given, that a Plan of the pro-
posed Port Chalmers Waterworks, showing by
metes and bounds all lands intended to be taken
or used for the purposes of the undertaking, and the
locality from which the supply of water is intended
to be derived; and all lands, to a reasonable extent,
intermediate between the place of supply and the
places to be supplied; and all lands included within
the circuit of such last-mentioned places, together
with a Book of Reference, have been deposited in the
Office of the Council, at Port Chalmers, there to
remain for public inspection, at all reasonable hours,
for three calendar months from the date hereof.
And notice is hereby further given, that the said
undertaking having been gazetted as an authorized
one, it is the intention of the Council to carry it out.
