Otago, and Colony of New Zealand, Accountant, do
solemnly and sincerely declare that-

I am the Manager of the said intended Com-
pany. -
The above statement is, to the best of my belief
and knowledge, true in every particular; and I make
this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the
same to be true, and by virtue of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled "The
Justices of the Peace Act, 1866."

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register "The Whangapoua Gold Mining Com-
pany" as a Limited Company, under the provisions
of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."
- The name of the Company is to be "The Whangapoua
Gold Mining Company, Limited." - The place of operations is at Te Ranga, in the District of
Coromandel. - The registered office of the Company will be situated at
No. 42, Queen Street, Auckland. - The nominal capital of the Company is £6,000, in
3,000 shares of £2 each. - The number of shares subscribed for is 2,850.
- The number of paid-up shares is nil.
- The amount already paid up is £1 per share.
- The name of the Manager is John Mowbray.
- The names, addresses, and occupations of the share-
holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are
