pany" as a Limited Company, under the provisions
of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."

1. The name of the Company is to be "The Whangapoua
   Gold Mining Company, Limited."
2. The place of operations is at Te Ranga, in the District of
   Coromandel.
3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
   No. 42, Queen Street, Auckland.
4. The nominal capital of the Company is £6,000, in
   3,000 shares of £2 each.
5. The number of shares subscribed for is 2,850.
6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
7. The amount already paid up is £1 per share.
8. The name of the Manager is John Mowbray.
