THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
And to prevent all doubts on the construction of
this Order in Council, it is hereby further ordered,
that the terms "passenger ship," "emigration officer,"
"statute adult," and "master," shall herein have the
same significations as are assigned to them respec-
tively in the said "Passengers Act, 1855."
And the Right Honorable Edward Cardwell, one of
Her Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State, is to
give the necessary directions herein accordingly.

ENGLAND.

On the 1st of January next, Money Order
Offices will be opened in the suburbs of London
at-
Postal District.
Campbell Road (No. 192), Bromley E.
Gold Hawk Road (No. 66), Shepherds' W.
Bush -
The offices at Devon's Road, Bromley, E., and
Stratheden Terrace, Shepherds' Bush, W., will be
closed. -
Money Order Offices will be opened in the
country at-
Head Office. County.

Bill Quay ... Newcastle-on-Tyne Durham.
Bretton ... Wakefield York.

The Money Order Office at Vauxhall Road
(Birmingham) will be abolished. -
The offices at Holsworthy (North Devon) and
Ramsey (Isle of Man) will be constituted Head
Offices; and the Money Order Office at Ballaugh
will become subordinate to the latter, instead of, as
at present, to Douglas. -
The Money Order Sub Office at Llantrissant
(Pontypridd) and the offices at Bruton, Castle Cary,
and Wincanton (Bath), will be made Railway Sub
Offices. -
The Money Order Sub Office at Hinton St.
George will be served from Crewkerne instead of as
at present from Taunton, and the offices at Annfield
Plain and Dipton from Newcastle-on Tyne instead of
from Burnopfield, R.S.O. -
During the past month the office at Camborne
(Cornwall) was made a Head Office; and Money
Order business was discontinued at the offices at
Esplanade (Ryde) and Stafford Street (Wolver-
hampton.
SCOTLAND.

A Money Order Office will be opened at-
Head Office. County.
St. George's Road, R.O.... Glasgow Lanark.
and the office at Franklin Place (Glasgow) will be
abolished. -
During the past month, Money Order Offices
were opened at George Street, R.O., and Springburn
(Glasgow).
IRELAND.
-
A Money Order Office will be opened at
Arran Island ... Galway Galway. -
During the past month, a Money Order Office
was opened at Cork Street (Dublin).
General Post Office, London,

Native Assessors appointed.
Native Office,
Wellington, 27th March, 1873.
HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to
appoint
HEMI TAUTARI, of Kawa Kawa, Bay of Islands;
HONE PETI, of Waimate, Bay of Islands;
PAORA NOUROA, of Waimate, Bay of Islands;
to be Assessors under "The Outlying Districts Sale
of Spirits Act, 1870," for the District of the Bay of
Islands.
These appointments take effect from the 18th
instant.

Office and Telegraph Station at Clinton, in the
Province of Otago.

Wellington, at the Post Office, Dunedin, up to the
tenth day of April, and after that at Tokomairiro
Post Office.
Tenders will be received by the undersigned up
to the 25th day of April next.
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
