The land is some of the best in New Zealand, and, both from its quality and position, is admirably suited to the requirements of persons of moderate means who intend to occupy and improve their own farms.
The upset price of the sections has been fixed, according to estimated value, within the maximum limit of forty shillings per acre allowed by the Regulations.
Plans may be inspected at the Office of the Secretary for Crown Lands, Wellington; at the Survey Office, Carlyle; and the Court House and Mr. Finimore’s Office, Wanganui.
Regulations for the sale of the land may be seen in the New Zealand Gazette of the 1st June, 1871, and all required information obtained at this office.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1870,” unless caveat in the meantime be lodged forbidding the same.
Section 8 (eight), Block LXIX. (sixty-nine), Town of Invercargill.—Applicant, JOHN PFLUGER, of Ba River, Fiji.
Section 4 (four), Block XLII. (forty-two), Town of Invercargill.—Applicant, ISABELLA WALDIE, Wife of John Waldie, of Riverton, Draper.
Caveat in each case must be lodged within one calendar month after the gazetting of this notice.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given, that CHARLES PERRING, of Makikihi, Stockowner, having made a statutory declaration of the loss by him of two Certificates of Title of part of Rural Section numbered 4,639 and the whole of Sections numbered 9,667 and 9,668 in the District of Waitangi, issued in the name of the said Charles Perring on the 4th day of November, 1871, provisional certificates of title of the above-mentioned lands will be issued to the said Charles Perring in twenty-eight days from the date hereof, unless any person or persons claiming an estate or interest in the said lands shall in the meantime lodge a caveat forbidding the same.

BRUCE PROPERTY INVESTMENT AND BUILDING SOCIETY.
A Special General Meeting of the Shareholders of “The Bruce Property Investment and Building Society” will be held in the Council Chambers, Milton, on Tuesday, the 4th of March, 1873, at 8 o’clock p.m., at which meeting amendments and additions to the Rules of the Society, to effect the following purposes, will be submitted for the approval of the Shareholders, viz. :—
To alter the date of holding the annual meetings; to provide for monthly disposal of funds; to provide for lending money for fixed periods, and to adopt a scale of repayments for money thus lent; to provide for the issuing of new shares from time to time; to take power to borrow money for the use of the Society; to provide for compulsory withdrawal of shares; and to make clerical alterations in the Rules.
